George Class-Peters Jr. Delaware FFA State TreasurerGeorge first learned about FFA from the Smyrna Middle School course selection catalog.

“My dad wanted me to join STEM classes, but that wasn’t my forte,” he said, “so I found a home in a different pathway: Agricultural Sciences.”

George said his most challenging FFA experience was running for state office. Although the process was daunting, it provided him an opportunity to learn more about yhimself and his commitment to the FFA.

“I am most excited to meet new members that aren’t sure if FFA is the place for them,” George said. “I want to be a strong factor in convincing them of the opportunities this unparalleled organization has to offer.”

Here are a few of George’s favorite things:

Animal: Bears

CDE: Agriscience Fair

Color: Fire Red

Hobbies: Reading, trying new sports, playing games and learning
