Hannah Haigh, from the Milford FFA Chapter is the 2023-2024 State Vice President. She is currently attending Penn Foster College pursuing her certification to be a Veterinary Technician. Hannah started her FFA journey at the Milford Central Academy agriculture class after being inspired by her middle school agriculture teacher. With the help and guidance of advisors Catilitn Rozell, Mckenzie Hardy, Joshua Bethard and Judith Bruns her passion for FFA grew and later pushed her to follow her dreams of becoming a state officer.
“The most challenging thing I’ve done in FFA is stepping out of my comfort zone. I had anxiety around crowds and new people, so speaking to others I did not know, traveling to other states and speaking in front of large crowds always gave me lots of anxiety. However with the help of teammates, friends, and supporters, along with dedication and hard work, overcoming fears is a lot easier to do. Now I have been able to overcome that anxiety.”
