Maci Carter, a graduate of Lake Forest High School, is currently serving as the 2020-2021 Delaware FFA State Treasurer. She attends the University of Delaware where she is obtaining a degree in Agriculture and Natural Resources.

Maci first learned about FFA while in middle school through her best friend, who was a serving as a chapter officer. She inspired Maci to begin her FFA career and run for office the next year. Maci’s most challenging FFA experience was freshman year of high school, when she had to memorize an eight minute long speech for the Prepared Public Speaking LDE. However, her hard work paid off when she placed first in the state!

During her year as a State Officer, Maci is looking forward to creating new relationships with members throughout the state. She hopes to connect to members by sharing her knowledge and passion for agriculture with those that she meets.
