Noah Dixon, from the Lake Forest FFA Chapter, is the 2023-2024 State President. He is currently attending Delaware State University majoring in Agriscience Education. Noah started his FFA journey at W.T Chipman middle school and his passion to serve as a state officer was lit his sophomore year after his first national convention. With the guidance of his advisors, Lindsey Saxton, William Currey, and Allison Scott, he was pushed to do his best in pursuing all his goals within the FFA.
“The most challenging thing in the FFA, personally, was overcoming the fear of talking in front of others. When I first joined the FFA, I was unsure of who I was, what I wanted to do, and why I would be valuable to others, but I’ve gained answers to these questions and many more throughout the opportunities I’ve gained in this organization. I’m much more confident in myself and my abilities now, so speaking to and in front of others is no longer scary. In fact, speaking with members, advisors, and other supporters of the FFA has become my favorite part of state office! I look forward to meeting and forming relationships with many more people over this upcoming year!”
