Timothy Mulderrig, a graduate of Middletown High School, is the 2019-2020 Delaware FFA State President. Timothy currently attends the University of Delaware where he is double majoring in Plant Science and Agriculture and Natural Resources.

Timothy first learned about FFA from his two good friends Margaret Babiarz and Sara Collins back in the eighth grade at Redding Middle School. He said his most challenging FFA experience was the participating in the Extemporaneous Public Speaking Leadership Development Event at the 2017 Delaware FFA State Convention.

“I despised public speaking and had a limited knowledge on agriculture,” Timothy said. “Through much practice and preparation, I became a much more confident speaker and agvocate! These are skills that I have carried with me throughout my entire FFA experience.”

Timothy is excited to meet more Delaware FFA members this year.

“Though we may all come from different schools and different parts of the state, all FFA members are united by their drive and ambition,” Timothy said. “I cannot wait to see what motivates all of you. Let’s make this an awesome year filled with epic memories!”

Here are some of Timothy’s favorite things:

CDE: Agronomy

Color: Blue-Green and Orange

Hobbies: Playing various instruments, tennis, ping-pong, swimming, hiking, road trips, hanging out with friends, and meeting new people
