Celebrating Ag Educators: Delaware FFA Joins Golden Owl Initiative

The Golden Owl Award® Recognizes Outstanding Agricultural Educators in Delaware

The Golden Owl Award is presented by Nationwide®. It is in partnership with Delaware FFA and the Delaware Farm Bureau. This award honors agricultural educators across Delaware. They are recognized for their exceptional contributions to shaping the next generation of agricultural leaders.

Students, fellow teachers, parents, and community members can nominate their favorite agricultural teacher. They can also share why this teacher is the best in the state.

Nominees have an opportunity to win the title of Delaware Agricultural Educator of the Year. They can earn significant cash prizes for their school’s agricultural education program or FFA chapter.

2025–26 Golden Owl Award prizes include:

  • One (1) Grand Prize Winner: Trophy and $3,000 cash prize to the Award Winner.
  • Up to Six (6) Honorees: Plaque and $500 cash prize to each honoree.
